Well, I'm in the market for a new car.

[...]

:(

Driving to work the other day, I was rear-ended. But not regular type rear-ended. This lady was going full speed on The 10 (Interstate Freeway). She hit me, I hit the car in front of me, then my car turned and I hit the guardrail/median, then the lady rear-ended me again. The windows busted, the trunk became the backseat, and none of the doors would open (the driver's door had to be pried open for me to get out).

While none of this was super fun, I'm super, super lucky. Like, really lucky. My neck is swollen and black/blue, the muscles in my arms are sore, but I feel like it could have been a lot worse. There's no blood where it shouldn't be and, while everything is tense and achy, nothing is unbearably painful. Tomorrow I find out more about the neck brace and the x-ray results will be back.

Until then, I'm icing and medicated and looking for a new car. (Which I'm super bummed about because my car was really swanky nice. And also paid off.)

In other news, my dad got his results back and he's currently cancer free. Woot!

Also, my grandmother died. Not woot. Despite the sad circumstances, it was the first time that I can remember our whole family being together since I was a single-digit age. (My family in California came up [to Portland], which is rare.) It was lovely to see everyone. I even got dinner with a couple cousins and it's nice to see them as adults.

So all of this has been what's going on with me. So, not much. ;)

Current obsessions: Money3 (budgeting software), Glee (TV), Heavy on A&E (TV), website design for my dad's company (just finished!), San Diego Comic Con plans, and prepping for my Africa trip.

Bummer about my grandma and my car, but great about my dad. I'm just really lucky.

Tra la. Tralala!
